Video Mashup: Cartoon Star Trek With William Shatner's Cover of "Common People"

A friend of mine showed me this last night, and it was too amazing not to share. What you are seeing is a video mashup of the old, animated Star Trek series and William Shatner's version of Pulp's classic working-class kiss-off "Common People". The synch-up is absolutely brilliant, though the narrative of the clip makes little sense. Still, it's more than worth a watch and it's at the top of the post, along with MP3s of Shatner's version and Pulp's original rendition. This way, you can do your own Late Greats-style Compare and Contrast.
