I'll comment!! That Rubinoo's song is awesome. I see the similarities, but christ - where do we start the list of songs that sound like other songs.

Let's all have a lawsuit party and get this stuff all figured out!

The similarities aren't amazingly apparent as they are with the Peaches comparison made here:

Alot of songs use the Rubinoo's chorus rhythm of "Hey, hey, you, you blablablabla.." such as The Pipette's song "One Night Stand"

What a crock. If anything, The Ramones need to sue the Rubinoos for stealing their song title. Then, Big Star could also sue the Rubinoos for stealing their sound. THEN, the Rubinoos need to sue The Replacements, because the chord progression on that one song sounds exactly like "Color Me Impressed." Then, Toni Basil could sue Avril for ripping of "Mickey (you're so fine."

Come to think of it, a lawsuit party isn't such a bad idea.

Avril tried to say if she was ripping off anyone, it was the Stones because of "Get Off My Cloud." I think the Stones should sue both of them. You know, just for fun.

I don't think this is close enough to sue. And she probably doesn't even know the Roobinos. I mean, I didn't until now, and I probably know a whole lot more about music than Avril Lavigne does.
