Speaking of SXSW, another great act making the rounds is Chicago's (hometown love!) very own old-school lovin' hip-hop duo The Cool Kids. If you can catch them, do. I've come oh-so-close to seeing them at last year's 'Fork festival, but, alas, no dice. Or black mags. Or 88's. But hey, check out the cover of the new Laced Magazine. It's got the duo on it. Also, check out an MP3 of "Action Figures", a track from their seemingly forever forthcoming EP The Bake Sale.
