Looks like MIA has something in common with acts as diverse as Pearl Jam, Eminem and Missy Elliot: being censored on MTV. MIA details all in her MySpace page. Long story short, MTV edited out the gun shots from the "Paper Planes" video and MIA is obviously not too happy about it. Stereogum has its take on the events here.
