A Mix for Apple Fest 2007
My roommate is going on a road trip today to Bayfield, Wisconsin to explore the amazing world of all things apples at Apple Fest 2007. No joke. In fact, it sounds beyond epic. Just try to imagine all of the cool things one could do with an apple and apple-ish things and triple it, twice; you've got Apple Fest my friend.
So, in honor of this road trip, I put together a mix of songs that make me think about apples. Yeah, there are some that do. Furthermore, they are songs that I think accurately represent the playful, sneaky, or even sometimes heavy nature of the apple, perhaps the awakening texture of a bite, and the rare few that reference apples or even the Big Apple itself.
In conclusion, here is a mix that will both adequately pass a fraction of a five-hour drive, as well as build the anticipation of, well, apples. Be sure to listen to these tracks in sequence.

I LOVE APPLEFEST!!! I went to College in Ashland and made an annual visit to Bayfield and its Applefest. Thanks for the mix and bringing up some nice memories.
The Duke
i went this year, and you know; there arent THAT many apples. Just different apple-flavored things. and only honeycrisp. but it was still amazing.
This is a truly great mix. I have never been to Apple Fest and I wonder why some of these songs make you think of apples, but it doesnt matter. This mix is a gem!
