the funniest thing about this blog is....
that is called minneapolisfuckingrocks but, there really isn't anything about minneapolis and how it fucking rocks on this site.
You don't really even feautre minneapolis musicians. Yah you put a show here and there.

The blog is meant to be about bands coming to Minneapolis (hence the St. Vincent post earlier this week about her show at 7th street - did you go?) as well as about bands from Minneapolis . And, if you'll scroll down, you'll find posts about Reveille Magazine and the new video from Glorious Monster, both of which are more directly related to Minneapolis.
Furthermore, in the past month we've had posts about Brother and Sister, Shapes and Sizes at Nomad, and Prince's first show at First Ave in 20 years. I don't know what constitutes "here and there" for you, but considering we only post once or twice a day, I think we're doing pretty well.
I'm probably to blame for a lot of the non-Minneapolis related content on the site, but that's because I live in Chicago.
Further Furthermore, if there is a band you'd think we'd like, our email addresses are on the right side of the site. All of us writers are just a click away. I imagine that in the time it took for you to write your comment on the blog, you could have emailed us ten MPLS' bands MySpace pages. If there is a group that you're really passionate about and think that we'd like, then drop us a line! It's what we're here for - to act as a dialog between the bands and the listener.
