The neo-new-wave trio hits First Avenue on May 30th to promote their excellent It's Blitz! On an entirely random note, I saw YYYs at First Ave. some time ago, on the exact date of Karen O's birthday. Staff brought on cake and everything, and the band even got some of the audience in on the celebration action. Needless to say, it was a memorable show at a memorable venue. Hopefully, the band will give an equally captivating performance.
