Tonight in Minneapolis: Foals at the 7th Street Entry
UK electro-pop/dance-punk quartet Foals play an 18+ show at the Entry tonight. Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the venue. Go to the show, as the group has a reputation for absolutely being smokin' hot live. Dance the rain away (assuming that it's raining in MPLS like it's raining in Chicago right now). Their latest, Antidotes is out now.

Yannis: "Thank you for your patience. We were unable to sound check due to a radio interview. Are you familiar with the DJ who sounds like he's lived in the States for ages, but is desperately trying to keep his Brit accent? We couldn't pinpoint the dialect. Maybe English. Possibly American. Somewhat Transatlantic? Like.. Greenland or something?"

Ha! He must be talking about this: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2008/04/29/foals/
Good show, always fun to see a band on their first US tour. Got a review/pics up here if you are interested. Funny, Jon, we both picked the same pic when promoting the show-it must be the intestines poster that sealed the deal. Cheers on a great site.
