Tonight: Band Of Horses At First Ave.

Download: Band Of Horses - "The General Specific"
Band Of Horses will be riding in to Minneapolis tonight in support of their second album, Cease To Begin, which was released early last month. Songs like the atmospheric and anthemic indie-rock of "Is There A Ghost?" (as well as their more country-influenced material) should definitely create an atmosphere of healing and easy-listening, as they describe themselves on their MySpace page, in the halls of First Avenue.
Tickets for the show are $18 and can be bought here. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the 18+ show. Buy tickets here.

unprofessional show. Lead singer doing best Billy Corgan imitation I've ever seen...
Anon-
Just out of curiosity, what was unprofessional about the show? Was the band sloppy or just not in a talkative mood?

Diff anon here, Lead singer was very unhappy with the sound. He couldn't hear himself or anyone/thing else on stage. I thought they sounded great, but they couldn't tell that they sounded great. I don't think it's "unprofessional" to want to know that your sound is good. It'd be more unprofessional to play with horrible sound & not care.

he should have taken the time to fix his issues, I thought. It did seem unprofessional to bitch about it all night leaving fans feeling like they got a bad show. Been to million shows there never seen a sound problem like that, I think they depend WAY too much on reverb and it screws em up. Did they soundcheck? Doesn't make any sense to me at all.
his overbite is damn sexy
