Pitchfork Awards White Williams An 8.3!

Did somebody call April Wright Nostradamus? No? Well, then I will. Because all the way back in, uh, well, last month, April did a track review of White Williams' "The Shadow" in which she said that she was "incredibly impressed with this band." Some website named Pitchfork happens to agree and rewarded White Williams' album Smoke an 8.3 out of ten. So congrats to White Williams all around! White Williams will be opening for Battles at the Fine Line Music Cafe on Nov. 7th. Tickets are $15 dollars and can be bought here.
