Idolator Asks: Which Alt-Rock Classic Do You Hate The Most?

Idolator has a fantastic post about which classics from the alt-rock era are the most worthy of hate. The piece begins with explaining how the authors came across R&B blog Soul Bounce's post about naming a Universal Soul Classic That You Hate The Most, and how the peeps at Idolator were kickin' themselves for not thinking of the idea first. Then, the ran with said idea, as the titular question of Which Alt-Rock Classic Do You Hate The Most? The writers choices are pretty interesting, as they, naturally, include classics like "Come as You Are" by Nirvana, "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails, and "Fool's Gold" by The Stone Roses.
But, of course, it's in the reader's comment section that things get really interesting. Here's a list:
Pixies, "Monkey Gone To Heaven"
Pavement, "Summer Babe"
Smashing Pumpkins, "Disarm"
Sonic Youth, "Teen Age Riot"
Sublime, "Date Rape"
U2, "Mysterious Ways"
Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Give It Away"
Butthole Surfers, "Pepper"
Pearl Jam, "Alive" and "Jeremy"
Soundgarden, "Black Hole Sun", "Spoonman"
The Cure, "Love Song"
Beck, "Loser"
There's much, much more. And now, here's my contribution:
"Freak Scene" by Dinosaur Jr. Although, to be fair, I don't hate it. I just consider it to be remarkably pedestrian compared to the rest of their catalog.
What say you, readers? Which alt-rock classic do you hate the most? Bonus points for going local.
