Fun With Words: Music Blog Anagrams Prove To Be Startingly Insightful
MFR writer April Wright and I were g-chatting it up whist about our daily business when she directed me toward Sternest Meanings, a chatter-bot that responds with anagrams whenever you type in words. Being the music dork that I am, I decided to plug in several music blogs, music journalists, and band names to see with what Sternest Meanings would respond. Much to my delight/chagrin, the results proved to be surprisingly accurate, or, at the very least, incredibly hilarious.
To wit (with Sternest Meanings responses in bold):
MFR Mandate: From now on, the dean of rock critics must be referred to as Robert "Turbocharger" Christgau. As far as The Late Greats is concerned, I just hope that the Duke doesn't become filled with his trademark steel rage!
Incidentally, On Stolen Girl, starring Sally Fields and Valerie Bertinelli, will air this coming Sunday at 8 p.m. EST/7 CST on your local Lifetime affiliate.
Since you're probably thinking of it, here are the Sternest Meanings responses for MFR's writers.
