CD Release Party: Muja Messiah

We've mentioned Muja before, as well as his new record, Thee Adventures of a B-Boy D-Boy, but this record release party sounds dope as hell. Check this out (via Culture Bully):

Not only will Muja be releasing his first full-length album he will be unveiling two new music videos; “Patriot Act” and “Madness”. “Patriot Act” features I-Self Devine and was produced and directed by Mark Wojahn of What America Needs, Matt Bakkom and Jon Jon Scott. The narrative follows the U.S. government policies and its negative effects at home and around the world. “Madness,” was produced and directed by Sidenburg/Teitensnow for Six-Ton Productions and finds Messiah in a straight jacket being water boarded, flipping bullets and in the rings of smoke.

Sounds provocative. Opening up will be new MFR-fav Black Blondie, Ghanian rapper M.anifest, reggaeton queen Maria Isa and, last but not least, DJ Verb X. Information about ticket prices and age-limits are in the flyer posted at the top.

Between Thee Adventures, and Doomtree, the late summer should be Minneapolis' hip-hop's time to shine. We'll let you know if any new tracks show up, as well as if the videos become available for embed on YouTube.

Thee Adventures... is out July 29th.
