Tonight: May Or May Not Will Begin Monthlong Residency At Scuba's

May Or May Not will absolutely begin a monthlong September residency at Chicago's Scuba's tavern, beginning tonight, Sept. 3rd, at 9 p.m. and will continue to play at the club every Monday until the 24th. That last date will also serve as the band's release party for its newest full-length album, the title of which is A Kaleidoscope Of Egos. The album is being released by local Chicago label Two Thumbs Down Records formally the next day, on the 25th.

So far, the band hasn't announced any Minneapolis dates, but we'll let you know if they are any as soon as possible. In the meantime, in order to whet your appetite for the band's intricate, densely melodious style of indie-pop (peppered with Jazz and Latin influences on tracks like "Bike"), check out these MP3s from their past two releases.
